For anyone who missed our abstract feedback workshop, here is our list of what we look for in abstracts.

Clarity:

- explicitly state a research question

- explicitly state how the paper has addressed that question

- make it clear that you have results, provide examples as appropriate

Publicity:

- give good publicity to your work

- show the work's relationship to previous research

Methodology:

- state your method

- state what your data is

- tell how much data there is

Audience design:

- specificity for your audience

- accessibility to the audience

- use the space/word count effectively

Wrap it up:

- state implications/explanations for findings
